Minuteman Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service HVAC Technician to join our growing team, where we prioritize your professional development and personal well‑being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential services and possess the ability to work effectively on their own or as a member of a team. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, hands‑on experience, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to engage directly with customers to ensure the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and hydronic heating systems.

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini‑splits in compliance with local codes.
• Diagnose issues, perform seasonal maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient system operation.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain findings, recommend solutions, and promote maintenance memberships or replacement options.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean, functional condition.
• Use Service Titan tablet for job tracking, documentation, and accountability.
• Verify all work before leaving to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Work independently or as part of a team, mentoring apprentices when needed.

• High school diploma / GED
• 4+ years of technical and trade experience
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of HVAC systems
• Familiarity with plumbing systems is a plus
• Understanding of current MA plumbing code
• Clear driving record
• Self‑starter, reliable, flexible with hours (especially during heating season)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Tech savvy and proficient using an iPad (preferably with Service Titan experience)
• Must pass initial and random drug testing and criminal background check
• Desire to grow within the company and complete additional training and certifications
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be capable of heavy lifting as required by the job duties
• Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment
