Electrician Apprentice

Job Description

Momentum Solar is a premier residential solar provider with offices throughout the U.S. Founded in 2009, Momentum has grown exponentially over the past decade. We implement the entire solar process to ensure a seamless transition to renewable energy.

• Installs, repairs/ replaces,andtestsassociatedelectrical circuitsand equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Troubleshoots electrical wiring and components.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Residential electrical experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and testPV relatedelectrical circuitsand associatedequipment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
• Ability to readresidentialelectrical blueprints and understand applyNEC codesas applicable.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Ability to work on roofs and in attics.
• Ability to work well with others with a strong focus on teamwork.
• Training and certifications will be provided.

• Must be well versed in residential wiring and conduit bending (EMT)
• Must have mechanical skills including but not limited to use of hand and power tools, drilling holes, setting up ladders, pulling and terminating of wiring.
• Solar/rooftop experience is strongly preferred.

Starting Pay: $20-25
