Job Title:
Maintenance Person
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, performing a variety of tasks to keep the operations running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and address issues before they escalated.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Repair and replace components such as wiring, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
- Keep records of maintenance activities and update logs accordingly.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of safety practices and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Capability to work in diverse environments, including occasional outdoor settings.
- Comfortable with standing, bending, and climbing as necessary to complete tasks.
