Job Title:
Maintenance Person

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, performing a variety of tasks to keep the operations running smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and address issues before they escalated.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Repair and replace components such as wiring, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
  • Keep records of maintenance activities and update logs accordingly.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic understanding of safety practices and regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Capability to work in diverse environments, including occasional outdoor settings.
  • Comfortable with standing, bending, and climbing as necessary to complete tasks.
