Part Time Carpenter

Carpenter Opportunity

CPSD is looking for a highly skilled carpenter to primarily work on school doors and associated hardware, locks, keys, etc. at least two days a week until the 12/31/2026. Other carpentry tasks may be assigned and performed as priorities arise.

A candidate must have at least 15 years of carpentry experience. Previous experience and extensive knowledge of door hardware, locks, door closers, key cutting, and other locksmith tasks are highly desirable. Must possess other carpentry knowledge and skills such as framing, sheetrocking, taping, mudding, sanding, painting, woodworking, etc. Must have a valid driver's license. Knowledge of Hazardous Communications and working around asbestos is preferable.

Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
