Part Time Carpenter

Description Of Service Opportunity

CPSD is looking for a highly skilled carpenter to primarily work on school doors and associated hardware, locks, keys, etc. at least two days a week until the 12/31/2026. Other carpentry tasks may be assigned and performed as priorities arise.

• Primarily work on school doors and associated hardware, locks, keys, etc., at least two days per week until 12/31/2026.
• Perform other carpentry tasks as priorities arise.

• At least 15 years of carpentry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of door hardware, locks, door closers, key cutting and other locksmith tasks highly desirable.
• Other carpentry knowledge and skills such as framing, sheetrocking, taping, mudding, sanding, painting, woodworking, etc.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and working around asbestos preferable.

July 6, 2026 through December 31, 2026

Not exceed $20,309.12

Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non‑exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
