Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a heavy lean toward backend architecture and infrastructure. You will be a core contributor to our platform’s engine, designing the systems that ingest, analyze, and remediate Shopify storefronts at scale.

While you should be comfortable moving across the stack in React/Remix
, your true expertise lies in building robust APIs, optimizing complex database queries, and managing sophisticated AWS environments.

• Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement server-side logic and application architecture using Node.js.
• Build High-Performance APIs: Develop and maintain REST and Graph
  
  QL APIs that power our remediation engine.
• Own the Infrastructure: Manage and scale our AWS ecosystem (IAM, Lambda, ECS, RDS) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Cloud Formation).
• Data Modeling: Design efficient SQL schemas and optimize queries to handle large datasets of merchant storefront data.
• Full Stack Execution: Collaborate on the frontend using Remix and Type Script to build seamless internal and merchant-facing tools.
• Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks in the system and implement caching and performance optimizations to ensure a low-latency experience.
• Languages: Type Script, Node.js, SQL
• Frontend: Remix, React, Next.js

• Experience: 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on senior-level backend contributions.
• Backend Mastery: Deep expertise in Node.js, server-side architecture, and API design.
• Cloud Fluency: Strong hands-on experience with AWS and a "Dev Ops mindset" regarding Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Database Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, schema design, and query optimization.
• Frontend Literacy: High proficiency in React, Remix, or Next.js (

• Education: BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Preferred: Previous experience building Shopify apps or working within the Shopify API ecosystem.
