Software Development Test Engineer

As our Software Development Engineer in the Hospital Patient Monitoring Team, you will be working in an Agile environment responsible for software for our new Real‑time Patient Monitoring platform.

• Identify manual processes and inefficiencies and improve them through automation.
• Implement test automation using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and convert functional requirements into Gherkin scenarios.
• Develop functional test suites and test documentation / concepts.
• Translate user requirements into innovative solutions using the latest technology.
• Review code and provide technical feedback and direction.
• Deliver software modules and components that meet the requirements, quality standards, and timelines.

• You've acquired 2+ years of experience testing (functionally and automated) complex solutions.
• Your skills include CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Cloud services (AWS or Azure) and you are detail‑oriented with demonstrated ability to understand and assess a complex software application or scenario, particularly focusing on developing and executing comprehensive test scripts or protocols and defect detection.
• You have a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum physical, cognitive and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customer's or supplier's locations. This is an office role.

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $128,000 to $. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long‑term incentives may be offered.
