We are looking for a Systems Engineer responsible for optimizing and enhancing our core technology infrastructure. You'll be solving problems associated with all of our capabilities such as our high-performance job search engine, scalable content recommendation service, machine learning platform, integrated consumer communications system, and others. As a member of our growing team, you will be responsible for the performance, stability, and enhancement of our deployed software infrastructure and work with other engineers throughout our rigorous, highly-collaborative process.

What you'll be doing here:

• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented Java
• Diagnosing and solving systems problems
• Optimizing software at scale
• Extending the data infrastructure to handle the evolving needs of the business
• Constantly learning new things

About you and your skills:

• Proficiency with enterprise Java
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Highly-developed written communication skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with relational database technologies such as MySQL
• Familiarity with full-text search technologies such as Elastic Search
• Familiarity with distributed computing technologies such as Apache Ignite
• Familiarity with single page application frameworks such as AngularJS
• Experience working in a multi-threaded environment
