Senior Software Development Engineer – Agentic AI, Messaging Platforms

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production Agentic AI systems using Vertex AI, Gemini models, and GCP-native tooling
• Develop and maintain enterprise SMS and RCS messaging services - routing, delivery tracking, opt‑in/opt‑out handling, and vendor integrations
• Implement and enforce TCPA compliance controls including consent management, suppression logic, quiet hours, and audit logging
• Build event‑driven, cloud‑native architectures on GCP (Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Run, GKE, Big Query)
• Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate RAG pipelines, tool‑use agents, and LLM‑based workflows into messaging products
• Participate in on‑call rotations; drive reliability improvements through SLIs, SLOs, and blameless postmortems

• 5+ years of software development experience with production‑grade systems
• Proficiency in one or more of:
  Node JS, Python, Java, or Go
• Hands‑on experience with GCP services — Pub/Sub, Big Query, Cloud Run, GKE, or Vertex AI
• Experience building or integrating SMS/RCS messaging systems (10
  
  DLC, short codes, toll‑free, or carrier APIs)
• Familiarity with TCPA compliance requirements and consent/opt‑out system design
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field required; equivalent experience considered.
