FPGA Engineer - Consultant

Awerian is part of the TTP Group, based near Cambridge in a purpose‑built facility.

Your role as an FPGA Engineer – Consultant will involve tackling diverse, real‑world challenges across the entire product life cycle: capturing requirements, designing and developing circuits and firmware, documenting, testing, and delivering complete solutions.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers and designers, turning pioneering concepts into impactful solutions through Awerian’s rapid design, development and implementation approach.

Requirements:

• Academic excellence and a relevant degree.
• Proven technical capabilities in FPGA firmware design and development using VHDL/Verilog and a toolchain such as Vivado or Quartus.
• Track record of design and implementation of technological solutions.

Experience in developing Digital Signal Processing algorithms is highly advantageous.

Desirable experience:

• Embedded software development in C/C++ with Linux expertise.
• RADAR or communications applications.
• Software Defined Radios (SDRs).

Experience in the defence sector is an advantage.
