Passionate people are everywhere  Developer Relations, we get excited to collaborate and connect with the communities that love technology as much as we do. Part community manager and part developer advocate, Developer Relations Engineers collaborate with developers at conferences and online, and advocate for developers interests internally  afraid to be hands-on, you write sample code and client libraries as well as participate in developer forums and support queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems developers encounter.

Internally, you work with product engineering teams to improve our products by conveying feedback from developers, reviewing API designs and testing new features. With your technical expertise, you drive strategy around fostering a community of developers who work with Google technologies. An ardent advocate for these developers, you represent their voice internally to our Product Managers and serve as their Google support in application development and technology implementation.

Our team explores what's next for Cloud and developers by running experiments, reporting findings to our organization, and aligning teams that we can capitalize on in the market. We work both as individuals and as a team to evaluate nascent technologies, patterns, and ideas to determine their relevancy for developers. We do our work publicly so all developers can learn from our successes and failures.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits Canada: $204000 - $210000 (CAD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits.
