We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing product engineering team building technology that supports cancer patients and their care teams.
You will work on a virtual, longitudinal cancer surveillance platform that includes patient-facing applications, clinical workflow tools, backend services, APIs, and a FHIR-based clinical data platform.
Please NOTE:
This is NOT a Java Developer role.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys owning meaningful product features from concept through production and working across the frontend and backend rather than being confined to one layer of the stack.
What You’ll Do- Build and ship patient-facing product features from concept through production.
- Develop modern frontend applications using React and Type Script.
- Design, build, and integrate backend services and APIs using Python.
- Develop and integrate GraphQL APIs supporting patient-facing and clinical applications.
- Work across frontend, backend, data, and application architecture as product needs evolve.
- Help improve application reliability, performance, testing, observability, and overall engineering quality.
- Contribute to secure handling of sensitive healthcare information and HIPAA-compliant systems.
- Collaborate closely with product, clinical, design, and engineering team members.
- Participate in architecture decisions while remaining highly hands-on with development.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Type Script, and modern frontend development.
- Strong backend development experience with Python, ideally using frameworks such as Django and/or FastAPI.
- Experience with GraphQL is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of modern software engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, debugging, monitoring, and production support.
- Experience working with cloud-based production environments.
- Ability to independently take product requirements and turn them into well-designed, production-quality software.
- React Native and/or professional mobile application development experience.
- Experience shipping iOS or Android applications.
- Healthcare technology experience, particularly with HIPAA, PHI, clinical applications, or other regulated systems.
- Experience with FHIR or healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience taking products or features from prototype through production and supporting them at scale.
React Native/mobile experience is strongly preferred but is not an absolute requirement. We are particularly interested in strong full-stack engineers who have the technical depth and interest to work across web, backend, and potentially mobile applications.
