Commercial Bus Operator
CDL A or B, Passenger Endorsement. Must be 21 years of age or older.
Schedule4:00am start. Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekend availability required.
Primary Responsibilities- Safely transport employees between Shaw’s Methuen, MA, and Wells, ME Distribution Centers driving a company-provided bus coach.
- Adhere to all applicable FMCSA regulations, maintain accurate ELD hours of service records, conduct required pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and follow all safety protocols.
- Operate the vehicle in full compliance with federal, state, and local rules, ensuring transportation documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety issues to ensure reliable operation.

- Minimum 2+ years driving experience in a commercial passenger setting.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety, familiarity with DOT HOS regulations and vehicle inspection guidelines.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.

Operate a company‑provided coach bus between Shaw’s Distribution Centers in Methuen (MA) and Wells (ME). Ensure employees are transported safely, stay compliant with State and Federal regulations. May serve as an on‑site translator during orientations and training. Work independently on the road, essential component of warehouse operations emphasizing safety, reliability, and career development.
DOT Regulatory Compliance- Hours of Service (HOS):
Strict adherence to DOT regulations regarding driving time, rest breaks, and overall work hours. - Vehicle Inspections:
Complete required pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections per DOT guidelines. - Documentation:
Accurately maintain all driving logs and inspection records for review by company or DOT representatives. - Safety Commitment:
Consistently comply with Local, State, and Federal regulations and best practices to protect employees and company property. - Payrate:
Hourly rate no less than local minimum wage; starting rates vary by location, experience, qualifications and any collective bargaining agreement.
