Education/Certificate Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Previous customer service experience preferred. Successful background check completed.

Knowledge and awareness of district policies and procedures; ability to communicate effectively and resolve problems; follow written and verbal instructions; maintain a positive, effective, and professional working relationship with associates and the general public. Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Specific tasks:

With an emphasis on customer service, ensure district buildings are locked and unlocked for appropriate community use, greet visitors, problem solve issues that may arise, and monitor the activities of permit-holding groups to ensure all district policies and procedures are followed.

• Ensure building and rooms are unlocked and relocked for authorized permit-holders
• Warmly greet and direct community members as they arrive
• Problem solve any issues that may arise with permits or user needs
• Help locate reserved equipment for users, if necessary
• Monitor the activity and behavior of users to ensure they are in the appropriate part of the building and following all district policies and procedures
• Ensure the reserved space is returned to its original condition; furniture is in its proper place and any trash is picked up and disposed of
• Light custodial duties, such as, but not limited to, wiping tables and taking out trash
• Attend in-service trainings as required
