Join our prestigious outpatient clinic as a Hematology/Oncology Physician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional cancer care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting a full-time team of advanced practice providers, utilizing state-of-the-art EMR systems, and making a meaningful impact on patients' lives. The role begins ASAP, with a contract initially lasting six months and the potential for extension, providing stability and ongoing professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient medical oncology and hematology care, including solids coverage.
- Collaborate closely with support staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient management.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and credentialing requirements.
- Board-certified in Hematology/Oncology.
- Valid Minnesota medical license (IMLC accepted).
- Active DEA license.
- BLS certification.
- Proven experience in medical oncology and hematology with solids coverage.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Skills:
- Experience with drive-in or locum-to-perm arrangements.
- Prior involvement with hospital-based outpatient clinics.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system.
- Strong team player capable of functioning autonomously.
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical practice in hematology and oncology.
- Board certification in Hematology/Oncology.
- Must have MN licensure or IMLC credentials.
- Credentialing completion within 90 days (120 days if license needs to be issued).
- Willingness to travel as needed for licensing or certification processes.
Hourly Pay Rate: $463.13
