About the Position
Join Our Esteemed Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician
Are you a dedicated Hematology/Oncology specialist seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care? Our healthcare facility is currently seeking a highly skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide outpatient services within a dynamic hospital environment. This is an excellent chance to transition from locum tenens to a permanent position, working with a supportive team committed to excellence in healthcare delivery.
This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $463.13, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, and a robust referral bonus program. Our dedicated 24/7 team ensures your success and professional growth throughout your assignment. We also provide paid sick leave in accordance with relevant laws, along with licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable.
Key responsibilities include providing outpatient medical oncology and hematology care, supporting solids coverage, and collaborating with a full-time advanced practice provider support staff. The position utilizes Epic EMR in a hospital with 590 beds, and the schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Required Skills:
Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
Valid Minnesota Medical License (IMLC accepted)
DEA certification
BLS certification
Proven experience in Medical Oncology and Hematology
Ability to provide solids coverage
Nice to Have
Skills:
Prior experience in outpatient clinic settings
Familiarity with Epic EMR system
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology
Previous hospital-based practice experience
Other Requirements:
Travel and licensure reimbursements as applicable
Credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days with license, 120 days without
