Start Date: Aug 31, 2026

2026‑2027 school year. Multiple positions available. The specific grade level and building assignment—ranging from Kindergarten through Grade 5—will be determined at a later date. Placement may be at Cambridge Primary School, Isanti Primary School, Cambridge Intermediate School, or Isanti Intermediate School.

• Current Minnesota Special Ed license in SLD.
• Successful background check required.

• Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching.
• Ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior.
• Ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents.
• Calm demeanor and passion for working with kids.
• Ability to communicate effectively with school staff and parents.
• Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self‑discipline and honesty.

• Provide special education services to students.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators and support staff to teach students skills and strategies for managing behaviors and working toward using strategies in the mainstream setting.
• Provide an ideal, positive learning environment.
• Instruct students in individual or group sessions, develop, translate and integrate lesson plans, and establish positive relationships.

7.5 hours/day (as per contract)
