Position Type: Contract
Setting: School-Based (Itinerant – Multiple Districts)
Position Details- Full-Time: 40 hours per week
- Assignment Dates:
September 1 – October 14 - Serving 13 school districts
- Student caseload of approximately 113 students
- Interviewing and hiring for contract candidates immediately
- Itinerant school-based role across multiple educational sites
- Provide educational audiology services across multiple school districts
- Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations
- Support development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, special education staff, and families regarding student hearing needs
- Recommend and support assistive listening devices and classroom accommodations
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student access to instruction
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements
- Master's Degree in Audiology or related field
- Active Minnesota Audiologist license or eligibility
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Experience in educational audiology
- Familiarity with assistive listening technology and FM/DM systems
- Background working with special education teams and IEP processes
- Ability to manage itinerant caseload across multiple districts

This educational audiology role offers the chance to support students across multiple Minnesota school districts while working in a collaborative and mission-driven environment. You'll help ensure students with hearing needs have equal access to classroom instruction and communication.
