Qualifications / ExperienceMinnesota Administrative License, K-12 principal or Director of Special Education preferred.
Previous experience in special education leadership preferred.
Successful background check required.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Needed- Knowledge and ability to implement Marzano frameworks, intervention programs, and special education programming.

- Ability to collaborate in a professional and personal manner.
- Positive and encouraging leadership style.
Supervision of special education programming at the secondary level. Working closely with high school SpEd teams by providing oversight to programming, behaviors, and due process. Staffing, budgeting, and daily managerial tasks. Performs complex professional work developing and maintaining an effective educational program consistent with state and federal guidelines and the philosophy, policies and goals of the School Board, ensuring student and staff safety and related work as apparent or assigned.
Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the office of the Superintendent and programming in conjunction with the Director of Student Support Services. Continuous supervision is exercised over all personnel within the programs.
