Job Description Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Successful Background Check required.
Experience with young children preferred.
Ability to lift up 10 lbs on a regular basis with up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:General knowledge of practices, methods and techniques used in early childhood classroom teaching.
Ability to work effectively with parents and teachers.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Passion for working with children.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:- Provide support by assisting with daily teaching and functions of the classroom.
- Facilitate play with young children.
- Assist with room set up/clean up, preparing of classroom materials and daily schedule.
- Other duties as assigned by classroom teacher or Coordinator.
M-F, approximately 18-21 hours per week. Occasional evening hours.
May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
Position Type: Part-Time
Salary: $17.83 Per Hour
