• Current Minnesota Special Ed license in ASD, SLD, or EBD.
• Successful background check required.

• Thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching.
• Ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior.
• Ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents.
• Calm demeanor and passion for working with kids.
• Ability to communicate effectively with school staff and parents.

• Provide special education services to students.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to teach students skills and strategies for managing behaviors and working towards using strategies in the mainstream setting.
• Provide an ideal, positive learning environment; instruct students in individual or group sessions; develop, translate, and integrate lesson plans; and establish positive relationships.

• 7.5 hours per day

Long-term sub assignment from approx. 8/31/26 - 10/9/26. As per contract.
