Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Cambridge, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast-paced food service environment.
* Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision and customer service
* Oversee food preparation, quality control, and inventory management
* Operate and maintain all store equipment
* Process customer orders via phone and in-person, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
* Handle cash transactions and maintain financial records
* Coordinate deliveries and manage stock levels
* Implement and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
* Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and customer service techniques
* Resolve customer complaints and address any operational issues
* Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and improving overall performance
* Adapt to changing priorities and assist in various tasks as ne
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food service or retail management
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in operating food service equipment and POS systems
* Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
* Computer literacy for order processing and inventory management
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Efficient time management and organizational skills
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Food safety certification preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent required
