- Work under the general direction of a registered professional engineer.
- Perform design calculations.
- Utilize Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) to assist with design work.
- Prepare construction plans for Abandoned Mine Land (AML) reclamation projects.
- Obtain and/or assist staff in obtaining applicable permits.
- Conduct inspection oversight of AML project construction as needed.
Pay:
Starting hourly pay of $34.53/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 7.5 years of service, culminating in an end salary of $50.66/hr
. Cost of living adjustments (COLA) may also be applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule and longevity rates.
• Engineering degree from a recognized school or college accredited by the accreditation board for engineering & technology
• Valid certificate as Engineer‑In‑Training issued by the State Licensing Board
• At least 1 year of engineering‑related experience
