JobPurpose
This position partners with a Financial Advisor to provide excellent service and financial goal planning to assigned clients. The role is responsible for meeting client service and revenue goals for the book of business, identifying opportunities for cross‑selling Trust and Investment solutions, and collaborating with branch and line‑of‑business teams.
Responsibilities- Service existing Investment and Retirement Plan Services clients, conducting financial goal planning and providing expert recommendations.
- Collaborate with a Financial Advisor on Investment and Retirement Plan Services and a Trust Administrator on Fiduciary business.
- Acquire new clients by building strong relationships with internal bank partners and prospecting beyond the bank’s existing customer base.
- Lead or participate in business‑plan design and execution to exceed revenue and client‑service goals.
- Comply with all industry rules and regulations.
- Maintain ongoing training and education related to the role.
- Improve service quality, client communication, networking, and sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate the qualities identified in the Peoples Employee Promise Circle.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
- Four‑year degree and/or a professional designation such as Certified Financial Planner, or equivalent work experience.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or Series 63 and 65) and Ohio Life and Health Insurance licenses strongly preferred; must be obtained within six months of hire if not already held.
- At least one year of prior experience in a financial services environment.
- Working knowledge of basic financial products and services relevant to client situations.
- Understanding of and compliance with industry rules, with no prior disclosures on Form U4.
- Proficiency in using technology and other resources to deliver excellent client service.
- Good team player skilled at collaborating with associates to achieve results.
- Flexibility to meet changing needs and priorities.
- Willingness to maintain investment and financial‑planning expertise.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including travel between branches, as required.
