LocationSalt Fork State Park, 14755 Cadiz Road, Lore City, Ohio 43755
Responsibilities- Plan and manage all operations of Salt Fork State Park, including budgetary, fiscal, staffing, and facility management.
- Develop and implement park goals and priorities that preserve Ohio’s historical, cultural, and natural resources.
- Serve as a direct supervisor of park staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities with other park districts, ODNR divisions and offices, and external entities.
- 36 months of training or experience in natural resources management, parks & watercraft management, facility management, hospitality management, business or public administration.
- 12 months of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Or completion of an undergraduate core program in natural resources management, parks & recreation management, facility management, hospitality management, business or public administration, with 12 months of relevant experience and 12 months of supervisory experience.
- Or completion of a graduate core program in one of the above fields, with 12 months of supervisory experience.
- Or 12 months of experience as a Park & Watercraft Manager 1, code 22516.
- Or equivalency to the minimum class qualifications listed above.
Starting hourly pay of $36.75, with increases over 7.5 years, ending at $52.27 per hour.
