Quanex is looking for a Bulk Minors Operator for 3rd Shift to join our QCM team located in Cambridge, Ohio
.
Follow scheduled recipes and supply ingredients for each recipe to the Mixer Operator. Bulk Minors operator must weigh all chemicals accurately and consistently.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Necessity for attention to detail.
- The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
- Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.
- Transfer material from bulk bags or “supersacks” to smaller paper or poly bags to a more precise weight that can be handled efficiently at the mixer.
- Typically target weights of 30‑50lbs.
- Communicate with additional staff members.
- Responsible for weighing of materials.
- Proper inventory control of raw materials and finished products.
- Properly label skids, boxes and fill out any applicable paperwork.
- Perform monthly inventory count.
- Following all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures.
- Operating a forklift for various functions.
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High School or GED preferred.
- Willing to work overtime including weekends.
- Close visual work required.
- Knowledge of general computer skills.
- Attention to detail.
