Drop Mill Operator -2nd Shift

Overview

The primary requirements of the Drop Mill Operator are to cool off, properly mix and process compounds through the mill within allowable specifications.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Necessity for attention to detail.
• The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
• Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.
• Correctly identifying the correct batch being milled.
• Ensure belts, pans, and knives are always cleaned between compounds.
• Following all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures.
• Operating a forklift for various functions.

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Knowledge of general computer skills.

Hourly rate: $18 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:45pm-11:00pm).
