Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Operator is responsible for assisting in the production and processing of recycled and compounded plastic materials. This role involves operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, handling materials, and helping maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor plastic extrusion and processing equipment
- Package finished materials into boxes
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Perform quality checks and inspections during production
Maintain accurate production records and paperwork - Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Assist with machine startups, shutdowns, and material changeovers
- Communicate equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet throughout the shift
