Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Quanex is looking for a Production Operator– 2nd Shift to join our team located in Cambridge, OH. The primary function is to produce quality products with minimum scrap.

$18/hr + $1/hr shift differential.

2nd Shift M-F: 2pm to 10pm (overtime potential).

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely
• Produce and use Material Identification labels
• Identify quality material prior to packaging
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S Standards
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School or GED preferred
• Willing to work overtime including weekends
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis
