What Success Looks Like
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Necessity for attention to detail.
  • The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
  • Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.
  • Job requires the operator to cut the rubber stock off the mill and to be able to lift it back up to band on the mill.
  • Must be able to pull a rubber strip(s) approximately 2 to 20 inches wide, from the mill and feed it onto the take-off belt located approximately three feet away.
  • This job is on a two to five-minute cycle.
  • Requires the operator to communicate with the additional staff members.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Fill out two-roll safety checklist.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining compound processing procedures.
  • Fill out any applicable paperwork.
  • Cut samples for QA testing.
  • Clean grease pans weekly.
  • Keep work area clean.
  • Lifting.
  • Following all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures.
  • Operating a forklift for various functions.
Your Credentials
  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School or GED preferred
  • Willing to work overtime including weekends
  • Close visual work required.
  • Knowledge of general computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.

Shift: 2nd Shift 2:45pm-11:00pm.
