Our manufacturing team is looking for an experienced CNC Operator who can run a variety of CNC machines and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. If you are a skilled CNC Operator with 2+ years’ experience working for a manufacturing business, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Job Responsibilities- Translate the requirements of detailed blueprint drawings into measurements for production
- Ability to operate CNC equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company
- Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift
- Use data collection system and take appropriate corrective actions based on the data collected
- Maintain appropriate production and scrap goals, as determined by the manufacturing manager
- Utilize safe working practices in all job-related functions and adhere to company safety policy
- Adhere to our Personal Protection Equipment Policy
- Makes safety a cultural norm by role modeling safety behaviors and providing corrective feedback and actions for safety outages
- Conduct monthly safety training for U.S. Bridge employees
- Educate employees on changes to OSHA regulations or current OSHA trends
- Any additional duties assigned by supervisor or plant manager.
- High school diploma/ GED requited
- 2+ years of production machinery experience
- Computer skills appropriate for the job Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Strong math skills
- Thoroughness and reliability
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely and correctly
Work Environment:
Standard manufacturing environment- must be willing to work in areas with high levels of noise.
Schedule:
Training on Day shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Monday to Friday for 2-3 months, then move to 2nd shift CNC Operator - 2:30 pm to 11 pm.
