What Success Looks Like:
- Perform required maintenance of all equipment
- Assist in the implementation of new equipment and improvements & troubleshooting to existing equipment
- Communicate effectively with maintenance and production staff to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Track and report maintenance issues or future reference
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures
- Ensure compound retains are rotated accordingly
- Continually be advised of equipment updates and operational issues and take action as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance & productions staff to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Ability to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Support general maintenance activities as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including off shifts and weekends as needed.
- Continued education-internal & external training opportunities
- Ability to handle and resolve problems
- Ability to perform any other work-related functions as requested by Management.
- General housekeeping and perform daily/weekly 5S duties
- Operate forklift/fill out daily forklift checklist when needed
Your Credentials:
- HS Diploma;
Technical Degree Preferred - 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing setting
- PLC troubleshooting and modification experience
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems
- Basic knowledge of Chilled water systems
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
- Strong Electrical experience
- Print Reading
- Wiring
- Troubleshooting
- Detail Oriented, professional, and flexible to the requirement of each project
- Dependable, Reliable, Responsible
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Ability to complete written reports
- Computer Skills
Hourly Rate of pay is commensurate with experience and electrical assessment conducted by Quanex beginning at $25.00/hr. + $1.00 Shift Differential for 2 nd & 3 rd shifts.
3 rd shift Sunday-Thursday - 10:45pm - 7:00am
