Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Med/Surg and Intermediate units at an 86-bed hospital. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, fulfilling a night shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
• Read and interpret telemetry data independently to monitor patient status.
• Document patient information accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and adapt care plans as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including adherence to travel and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg and Intermediate units.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficient ability to read and interpret telemetry.
• Be licensed as an RN in any active state or hold a valid compact license.
• Have EPIC charting experience.
• Be able to pass the required dysrhythmia and EKG exams.
