Position Overview
Inpatient psychiatric rounding with a rotating schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off. This position offers great flexibility coupled with ample time off. Work six months out of the year! We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team. The employed PMHNP will provide psychiatric care including evaluation, diagnosing, and treatment of clients under the supervision of the Medical Director.

Job duties include daily rounding with patients, medication management, completion of daily documentation, providing on-call responsibilities on scheduled basis. Master's degree in nursing with board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required.

Responsibilities

● Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management

● Conduct ongoing follow-up visits with geriatric and adult psychiatric populations

● Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical providers, nursing staff, and
social workers

● Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and facility
standards

● Contribute to continuity of care planning and patient/family education

Qualifications

● Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)

● Active PMHNP licensure

● Active DEA

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills

● Prior psychiatric experience preferred
