Position: Heavy Equipment Service Technician (Shop-Based)
Location: Cambridge, Ohio
Compensation: $ Hour Based On Experience And Certifications
Overtime: Available and paid at time + Qualified Shop Techs may be offered a flexible schedule including 4x10 hour days.
Southeast Equipment is pleased to offer up to a 5K signing bonus payable after the successful completion of a ninety day probationary period (Payable on day 91)

We're looking for a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with your hands, love heavy machinery, and want to build a career with unparalleled advancement opportunities
, this is the role for you.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of equipment:
- Dirt movers
- Lifts
- Paving and milling machines
- Environmental equipment
- Conduct functionality and safety tests
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain issues
- Utilize laptops and tablets to run diagnostics
- Interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Follow all OSHA and EPA safety standards
- Stay current on training and manufacturer certifications
- Experience:
Minimum 5 years in shop or field service repair - Technical
Skills:- Very strong diagnostic skills especially: 12/24 volt electrical wiring and hydraulics
- Proficiency with diagnostics tools and software
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions
- Other Requirements:
- High school diploma or trade school certification
- Valid driver's license
- Able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen (includes testing for medical marijuana)
