Maintenance Repair Worker 2
- Performs maintenance, replacement, installation & repair of electrical and plumbing equipment.
- Performs carpentry work involving maintenance, alteration &/or repair of buildings, equipment & wood structures.
- Performs basic painting.
- Operates state vehicle to transport various equipment, tools, parts, materials & supplies to various locations throughout the state or to transport vehicle to dealership for service or repair.
- Performs minor custodial duties.
- Performs general exterior grounds keeping duties.
- Performs minor maintenance on Division vehicles.

Minimum QualificationsFormal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction and in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary;
- AND 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in maintenance repair work (e.g., basic electricity, plumbing, carpentry, masonry repair & use of associated hand & power tools & equipment)
- AND Valid commercial driver’s license required if motor equipment is of type & size regulated by sections 4506.01 & 4506.12 of Ohio revised code.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure.
