The Front Loader / Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to support pipe handling, material movement, and field operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient workflow across job sites, yards, and customer locations while upholding all safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate front‑end loader and other heavy equipment to move pipe, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, railcars, and staging areas
- Support field operations by transporting and organizing pipe and materials at job sites
- Assist with additional operational tasks including CVD, yard support, and general labor as needed
- Coordinate with ground crew and spotters to ensure safe equipment operation
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with minor maintenance as required
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site‑specific requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support team productivity and contribute to efficient job completion
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- 1–3+ years of oilfield, construction, or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Proven ability to safely operate heavy equipment (front loader experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to assist across multiple job functions
- Flexibility and teamwork are essential to success in this role
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
- Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, and reach overhead
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Good hand‑eye coordination, depth perception, and manual dexterity
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively in both loud and quiet environments
- Expected hours: 45–55 hours per week, including overtime as required
- Must be available for field assignments and varying job site locations
