Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Mancan Staffing has partnered with a prestigious construction company in the Cambridge area, and we’re looking for a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction and carpentry to contribute to impactful, hands-on projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in remodeling, installation, drywall finishing, painting, and masonry. If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable reading schematics, and enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, painting, drywall finishing, and flooring installation
• Assist with masonry work to ensure structural quality and project standards
• Execute remodeling projects based on schematics and blueprints
• Install various fixtures and fittings according to job specifications
• Lay tile with precision and attention to detail
• Operate CNC machinery for custom woodwork (as needed)
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or construction laborer
• Skilled in a wide range of carpentry tools and techniques
• Familiarity with masonry work preferred
• Remodeling experience highly desirable
• Ability to accurately read blueprints and schematics
• High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license required

• Schedule:
• 8-hour shifts (5x8)
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime and weekends as needed
• Year-round work
