Equipment Operator; CDL | Line Clearance

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Equipment / Jarraff / Sky Trim Operator to our passionate team of utility line clearance professionals who will be joining a team servicing the Guernsey and Tuscarawas County, Ohio regions which includes:
Cambridge, Dover, and New Philadelphia.

• Position involves operating Jarraff / Sky Trim mobile equipment on utility right-of-way
• Responsible for equipment and crew safety when removing trees on utility right-of-way
• Assist in all job functions as a member of the crew

• Love of the outdoors
• Prefer a minimum of two (2) years mobile equipment operating experience and training which provides the necessary operations skills, knowledge and abilities is required
• Be capable of successfully passing a mobile equipment operations certification test
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Required:
  
  valid driver’s license
• Preferred:
  Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement
• Preferred: line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Profession

Hourly pay rate $22.00 – 28.00 based on line clearance / industry experience and if a CDL holder.
