We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children’s residential care provider based in Cambridgeshire, who is committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and resilient Children’s Residential Support Worker who is passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives.
The Role
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will:
* Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision to children and young people
* Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
* Support young people with routines, education, activities, and emotional wellbeing
* Implement individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children or young people (residential care experience)
* Is empathetic, patient, and emotionally resilient
* Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Has strong communication and teamwork skills
* Is flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
* Holds a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Relevant CPD related qualifications
