Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Full-Time Nanny  Family

Location: Cambridge (with occasional London & European travel)
Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Role: A warm, professional international family based in Cambridge is seeking an experienced, patient and nurturing nanny to support the care of their delightful little girl, aged 2. The little girl is exposed to English, Hebrew and Lithuanian within the home, therefore knowledge of either Hebrew or Lithuanian would be a small advantage, although absolutely not essential. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers and can provide attentive, development-focused care in a calm and loving environment.

The family is looking for someone proactive, kind and flexible, who can become a valued part of their daughter’s early years. The role will primarily focus on sole-charge childcare, including planning age-appropriate activities, supporting development through play, preparing meals for the child, children’s laundry and maintaining child-related areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full housekeeping duties across a large property
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
  • Managing household routines and supporting day-to-day operations
  • Working alongside other household staff (including a cook)

Please note:

No cooking is required in this role.

The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have previous experience caring for toddlers
  • Be patient, warm and highly attentive
  • Enjoy engaging children through play and interaction
  • Be flexible and happy to work alongside parents who occasionally work from home
  • Be open to occasional travel within the UK and Europe
  • Be a confident communicator in English
  • Hold an up-to-date DBS and Paediatric First Aid certificate
The family would ideally like
  • 5 days per week (4 days may be considered for the right candidate)
  • Approximately 8.5-hour days on 3–4 days per week and 10-hour days on 1–2 days per week
  • Some flexibility with hours and occasional babysitting once or twice per month
  • This is a non-smoking household
