9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support routine laboratory operations. The role involves hands-on chemical work, basic organic chemistry procedures and accurate data handling in a regulated lab environment.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine laboratory experiments and procedures, executing basic organic chemistry techniques
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment
Accurately record experimental data and maintain laboratory records
Assist with sample preparation, analysis and reporting
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines

Requirements
Practical experience working in a laboratory environment
Chemical handling skills
Working knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques
Strong data handling skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
Good organisational and time-management skills
Relevant qualification in chemistry or a related scientific discipline
