Cambridge Pay / salary: £36,400 OTE:
Up to £61,000 Job type:
Permanent / Full time role Shift and schedule for the Roadside Technician role 40 hours per week between 6am and 12pm, Monday to Sunday. Shifts known 4 months in advance. Flexi overtime at x1.5 and / or optional fixed overtime at £30 per hour. All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van. Benefits for the for the Roadside Technician role Overtime 300 overtime hours per year equates to an extra £12,000 per annum.

Job Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician role Attend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately. Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes. Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repair options. Provide temporary solutions when full repair isnt possible, ensuring member mobility. Advise members clearly on next steps, including recovery if needed.
Work safely and efficiently in varied environments and conditions. What youll need to a be considered for the Roadside Technician role Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent) Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles.
Either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role.
