Electrician / Electrical Tester

Location: Cambridge

Position Type: Permanent, Contract (Temporary), or Price Work

Project Duration: Up to 4 years of continuous work available

We are seeking experienced Electricians and Electrical Testers to carry out electrical testing and produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).

The contract involves working across a variety of commercial and local authority properties in Cambridge, including council buildings, offices, and car parks. Due to the nature of these occupied sites, the majority of the schedule involves out-of-office-hours work.

We are initially recruiting 2 Testers for this project, with the team scale expected to increase up to 10. We are highly flexible regarding employment types and welcome applicants looking for permanent roles, standard temporary contract work, or price work arrangements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Qualifications: City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection) and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Card: Valid JIB Gold Card.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience working independently as an Electrician or Electrical Tester.
• Skills: Proven ability to accurately complete electrical certificates and a thorough compliance knowledge of current regulations.
