Electrical Site Supervisor Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to lead a site team on a long-term refurbishment project in Cambridge starting in September.

This is a hands-on supervisory position overseeing a team of 6 8 personnel, including electricians, electrical mates, and apprentices. You will be responsible for driving productivity, ensuring high standards of workmanship, and coordinating subcontractor activity on a live refurbishment environment.

The project involves the complete refurbishment of existing student accommodation, spread across 3 floors and approximately 40 rooms, including bedrooms, flats, kitchens, and communal areas.

Electrical Site Supervisor Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of electricians, mates, and apprentices
• Oversee day-to-day electrical installation works on site
• Manage and coordinate specialist subcontractors
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship
• Liaise with project management and other trades on site
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site standards

Electrical Site Supervisor Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor on commercial projects
• Strong background in electrical installation within commercial environments
• Demonstrable experience managing teams of electricians and operatives
• Experience coordinating subcontractors on site
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Evidence of previous supervisory experience required

Electrical Site Supervisor Package

• £240 £ 280 per day (DOE, negotiable for the right candidate)
• Long-term work (approx. 12 months)
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Local parking available nearby / Park & Ride option
