Electrical Project Manager
Location: Easton, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £60,000 £ 70,000 per annum + Company Van + Excellent Benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team in Cambridgeshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on leader to oversee electrical operations across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards while leading and developing a skilled team of electricians.
The Role
As the Electrical Manager, you will take ownership of electrical installation projects from initial planning through to completion. You will manage engineers, coordinate resources, maintain compliance with industry regulations, and ensure exceptional service is delivered to clients throughout every stage of the project.
You will also be responsible for supporting the ongoing development of the business by promoting operational excellence, maintaining accurate project documentation, and fostering a strong health and safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical installation projects from planning through to completion.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate electricians and apprentices.
- Allocate workloads and manage labour and project resources effectively.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure work meets the highest quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671, NICEIC requirements, and all Health & Safety legislation.
- Prepare quotations, RAMS, certification, and project documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support audits, accreditations, and continuous business improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an Electrical Manager or senior electrical leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of BS7671, NICEIC standards, and current electrical regulations.
- Experience managing electrical projects, teams, and client relationships.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance procedures.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
