Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Ember stone Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Carpenter for an immediate start on a 4-week contract based in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for 2nd fix carpentry tasks on a busy construction site, ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to health and safety regulations. The role involves working on internal finishing, door hanging, skirting, and architraves, with a focus on precision and efficiency.

You will be expected to work a standard 8-hour day, including a one-hour lunch break, and contribute to a smooth workflow throughout the duration of the project.

• Previous experience in 2nd fix carpentry
• Blue CSCS card is preferred but not essential
• Own tools required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
• Good understanding of health and safety standards
• Availability to commit to the full 4-week period

The role offers a competitive day rate of £220, with work expected to be completed over four weeks.
