Commercial Laundry Engineer

Location: Cambridgeshire

Good opportunities to work for a nationwide, commercial laundry company that is going through some great expansion these past few years. After a number of company acquisitions they are looking to strengthen their position to be able to provide a quality service to its clients. They have been running over 20 years and can count some very well know companies as clients.

Due to a expansion they are currently looking for a commercial laundry equipment engineer, you will be:

- * Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment – commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and some dosing machines

* Working on electrical and gas fired commercial laundry equipment

* Covering Cambridgeshire

* Working with clients such as nursing homes, hospitals, offices, holiday parks, hotels

Experience / skills required for a commercial laundry engineer

* Experience with in commercial laundry equipment would be beneficial but is not essential

* They are looking to train someone up on gas commercial laundry equipment so need someone with existing domestic or commercial gas certificates

* They would also consider someone who has experience working on commercial catering equipment or commercial dishwashers

* Living in or around the Cambridgeshire area

* Good electrical competency

Salary for a commercial laundry engineer

* 38k basic if you have any gas certificates

* 35k basic if you don’t have gas certs but have relevant electrical industry experience

* Door to door travel pay

* 2k annual performance bonus paid on a quarterly basis

* Van, phone, overtime

* Call out rota for 1 weekend in 5

* 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

* Great further training on gas laundry equipment
