* * area.
For this role, you’ll need to be located in or near Cambridge to support the area effectively.
** What’s an Improver?
** Someone with the right attitude, some hands-on or technical foundation, and the drive to learn - but who isn’t fully qualified
* yet*.Think of it as the stage between:

** As a Lift Service Improver, you’ll support experienced engineers in delivering planned maintenance, minor repairs, and safety inspections across a variety of lift systems. You’ll help prepare tools and equipment, complete basic service documentation, and play a key role in keeping systems running safely and efficiently.
This is a development-focused role where you’ll build strong technical skills, gain a solid understanding of industry safety standards, and work towards your NVQ3 in Lift Engineering, with a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified, independent engineer.
