Location: Rutherglen

Mobile LCV Technician / Mechanic role with a Level 3 qualification, or Level 2 Technician / Mechanic with 3 years' experience, for a leading vehicle rental specialist, working on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.

Must have the right to work in the UK. A full UK driving licence is required.

Pay / salary:

Up to £36,730 Basic + 1.5k sign on bonus + Overtime at 1.25x (£20.77ph) + Company Van + Tools Provided DOE & Qualifications

Shift and schedule:

Monday to Friday day shift, with overtime available when required,42.5 hours per week

The role sits within a technical maintenance team focused on safety, vehicle availability, customer service and high-quality repair standards.

Skills and experience
  • Relevant light vehicle, LCV or commercial vehicle maintenance qualification, or strong hands‑on experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles
Job Responsibilities for the Mobile LCV Technician role
  • Attend customer sites and depot locations to complete planned maintenance, inspections and servicing on vans and LCVs
  • Identify and repair mechanical, electrical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out mobile repairs to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant and roadworthy
  • Complete job records accurately, communicate clearly with customers and maintain a professional mobile service
